Then you attack the "Bak", Pork ribs........


Then you break the meat to see how the texture and freshness of the meat.
Most important is to have the meat, a clean break with the bones.

Starting 2011 Jan, Moses will be featured twice weekly in Straits Times Singapore, on his food findings around Singapore and neighboring countries, and guess what, we will be featured......

How Bak Kut Teh was created! The real life Story, of "Truly Malaysian".

How Heng Bkt was born! It all started in Johor Bahru (southern of Msia), by the Heng Family in 1960.
The whole idea was to create a healthier way to eating Bak Kut Teh.
Since the family is so much into Bak Kut Teh daily, they were in serious need to develop a much more healthier way in order to consume it daily.
The family 1st started to cook for themselves only, but the aroma was just too tempting, moving across its neighbors.
Neighbors started coming over asking for a taste of this, and after 3 years of free sampling and free food to its neighbors, "Wallah" the birth of Heng Bkt Delights was formed in 1963, and since then, numerous students took up learning the "Heng Bkt Recipe" from the Heng family.
